At ReactFast we offer you the choice of two plumbing courses to help you kick start your new plumbing career. You can choose from our extremely popular 7-week City & Guilds Level 2 Domestic Plumbing & Heating Technical Certificate or choose to follow the 10-week City & Guilds 6129 Plumbing Technical Certificate.
Both routes are your platform to achieve a recognised NVQ Level 2 qualification in plumbing.

If you wish to continue with your personal development you have the option to achieve an NVQ Level 2 upon completion of Plumbing & Domestic Heating Technical Certificate.
In order to achieve your Plumbing NVQ (City & Guilds 6088) you must build an acceptable portfolio of evidence and undertake on-site assessments that can be arranged via the plumbing training centre.
Is CORGI Registration your ultimate goal?
You are now just two steps away from achieving this ambition.
Step 1: As a qualified plumber that holds his/ her City & Guilds 6088 (NVQ2) you are recognized as a Category 2 candidate by relevant governing bodies. You must build a separate portfolio of supervised gas work under the guidance of a suitably qualified CORGI Registered installer. Upon successful completion of a gas portfolio you are ready for the next step.
Step 2: Undertake Initial ACS Training & Assessment. Before applying for CORGI Registration all candidates must first be trained and assessed on core gas safety and domestic appliances (known as ACS – Accredited Certification Scheme). Upon successful completion of ACS you are free to apply to CORGI for registration.

Plumbing courses are held in Central Birmingham and Atherton, Greater Manchester. Students must pay for their own accommodation if necessary, but will benefit from discounted B&B rates.
It would be unfortunate if you were not able to experience the best possible plumbing training experience and facilities due to the added expense of additional accommodation costs. The ReactFast plumbing course covers all aspects of domestic plumbing, heating design, fault finding, maintenance and domestic drainage.
The plumbing course is split into two parts theory training on the understanding of plumbing systems and practical training to provide you with all your necessary plumbing skills.
The plumbing course consists of seven weeks intensive plumbing training, Monday – Friday. All plumbing courses will start at 8.30am and finish at 5.00pm.
